Tempo Traveller on Rent in Varanasi
The Tempo Traveller is a mini bus, and it is what a large family, a pilgrim party or an office group hires when a car is too small. It is air-conditioned and comes in several seating sizes, and our fares are for a vehicle that takes up to 17 people. A larger vehicle of 20 seats can be arranged, so ask.
It works well for the Buddhist circuit and for the religious and pilgrimage tours out of Varanasi, such as Ayodhya, Prayagraj and Bodh Gaya, where a group would otherwise need two or three cars. Everyone travels together, and there is one vehicle to coordinate.

One vehicle for the group
Ten to seventeen people travel together, so nobody is left waiting for a second car, and the group stays in one place at every stop.
Room for luggage
A group of this size has a lot of bags. The Tempo Traveller carries them with the passengers, which two or three cars would not.
Air-conditioned
All our Tempo Travellers are AC, which matters on the long drives in the summer.
Shared cost, lower per head
Because the fare is for the whole vehicle, it works out lower per person the fuller the vehicle is, and it is usually less than hiring several cars for the same group.
The pilgrim circuits
Well suited to Ayodhya, Prayagraj, Bodh Gaya and the Buddhist circuit, where a group visits several places over a day or two.
Stations and the airport
A group arriving by train or by air can be met by one vehicle. Mughalsarai (DDU) is a longer transfer, so it has its own fare.

Good to Know About the Fare
- On the Ayodhya route an early-start charge of ₹300 applies before 6 AM and a late-night charge of ₹300 after 8:30 PM.
- On the Ayodhya, Bodh Gaya and Lucknow fares the driver’s food is included, and on Bodh Gaya and Lucknow so are night charges.
