Private Motor Boat on the Ganga in Varanasi
A motor boat is the most comfortable way to see the ghats in one ride. Unlike a rowing boat, it covers a long stretch of the river in the time, so you pass the ghats one after another without hurry. The boat is private, so only your group is on board.
Most rides start from Assi, Ravidas or Namo Ghat and end at Raj Ghat or Manikarnika Ghat, depending on the ride you choose. Choose a sunrise ride, usually between 5:30 and 7:00 AM, or an evening ride, usually between 5:00 and 7:00 PM, when you can watch the Ganga Aarti from the river.
