Prayagraj, at the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna and the mythical Saraswati, is one of Hinduism's holiest cities and the site of the Kumbh Mela and the annual Magh Mela. The Triveni Sangam is the centrepiece of almost every visit.
This guide covers the Sangam and three of the other places most visitors combine it with: the Lete Hanuman Mandir, Allahabad Fort and Anand Bhavan.
