Dev Diwali (Dev Deepawali) falls on Kartik Purnima: 24th November 2026 (Tuesday) — Kartik Purnima. Boat reporting is at 4:00 PM at Ravidas Ghat, Nagwa, Varanasi; the boat leaves at 5:00 PM and is back by about 8:00 PM.

How early should I book?
Dev Diwali boats sell out before the date. We suggest booking 2–4 weeks ahead, and earlier for large groups or the Bajra Boat. Message us as soon as your plan is fixed.
What is included in the ticket?
The boat ride for your chosen package and a life jacket for every guest. Motor and Light Motor boats add a snacks box and mineral water; the Bajra Boat adds a Banaras food spread (chaat, gol gappa, tea, sweets, water) and a VIP upper deck. Hotel pickup, full meals and personal expenses are not included.
What is the refund and cancellation policy?
All boat ticket bookings are strictly non-refundable because Dev Diwali is a very high-demand night. Please confirm your plans before booking.
Can children and senior citizens come?
Yes. Children are welcome and every guest gets a life jacket regardless of age. Tell us about any mobility concerns when you book; the Bajra Boat's upper-deck seating usually suits older guests best.
Will I see the Ganga Aarti, laser show and fire show from the boat?
Yes, the boat route is planned around the evening illuminations of the ghats. The laser show, fire show and Ganga Aarti are organised by UP Tourism, so their exact timings can shift.
What is the difference between Diwali and Dev Diwali?
Diwali is the festival of lights at home. Dev Diwali, also called Dev Deepawali, comes fifteen days later on Kartik Purnima and is the festival of lights of the gods, when the ghats of Varanasi are lit with diyas along the Ganga.
Is food available on the boat?
Normal and Light Motor boats include a snacks box and mineral water. The Bajra Boat includes a full Banaras food spread. For the Cruise, ask us on WhatsApp.
Can I take photos or fly a drone?
Photos and filming are welcome on every boat. Drone use may be restricted around the ghats, so check with our team before you plan to fly one.
