The Normal Motor Boat is our best-value way to see Dev Diwali from the water. It's a shared motor boat — you book a seat, not the whole boat — carrying a larger shared group of around 35–40 people, with a total boat capacity of 50+.
You'll get a snacks box and mineral water included, a life jacket for the full duration of the ride, and roughly 3 to 3.5 hours out on the Ganga while the ghats light up around you. It's the same illuminated-ghats view as our other boats, at the lowest price point in our 2026 line-up.
Due to boat rush on Dev Diwali night, the Normal Motor Boat may not be parked directly at Dashashwamedh Ghat during the Ganga Aarti — you'll still get a river view of it from nearby.
