Why the Light Motor Boat Suits a Calmer Dev Diwali Evening
The Light Motor Boat is a shared motor boat with a smaller group than our Normal Motor Boat — around 20–25 people, with a total boat capacity of 30+. If you'd rather not share the ride with a large crowd, this is the middle option in our 2026 line-up.
You'll get a snacks box and mineral water included, a life jacket for the full duration of the ride, and roughly 3 to 3.5 hours out on the Ganga while the ghats light up around you — the same laser show, fire show and Ganga Aarti view, in a quieter setting.
Due to boat rush on Dev Diwali night, the Light Motor Boat may not be parked directly at Dashashwamedh Ghat during the Ganga Aarti — you'll still get a river view of it from nearby.
